Watsonalla cultraria, but the spots are in their usual position

Hi, on whole Web there is no Watsonalla, with dark spots at this location.
No, all W. cultraria which show spots (they are not always present in this species) have the spot(s) on this position, i.e. on the discoidal vein of the forewing. This is entirely normal. But in your specimen both spots are present and they are much larger than usual.
Additionally the antemedian line runs very far into the median field so that it actually touches the discoidal vein (and thus the spots). That’s unusual too.

So it’s a slightly unusual/aberrational form of a female Watsonalla cultraria.
