Dear Mr Kaiser,
My name is Niclas Bergius and I’m a biologist that work with nature conservation at the regional government in Central Sweden (Västerås).
We have an island in the lake Mälaren where the only known locality for Ethmia dodecea in the whole of Sweden is found.
The island is protected for nature conservation and during the last years a lot of restoration work has been done there to strengthen the population of Lithospermum officinale.
So now the plant population is very nice.
The only problem is that the last known finding of Ethmia dodecea on the island was made like 30 years ago.
I would really like to discuss with some person in Germany about the situation for this species in Germany.
All the best
