Typenmaterial
GOZMÁNY (1964: 12) beschrieb die Art nach einem einzigen ♂: “The data of the single Holotype specimen are: “Insula Creta, Knossos, 150 m, 12. VI. 1958, leg. H. REISSER + Holotype + Aprominta argonauta, No. 1719, gen. prep. Dr. L. GOZMÁNY”. Deposited in the collection of Dr. J. KLIMESCH, Linz, Austria.”
