MILLIÈRE (1864) fand die Raupen im November und Dezember zahlreich bei Hyères (Frankreich) an "Lavatera olbia".

Die Art ist nur aus Frankreich (locus typicus ist Hyères an der französischen Mittelmeerküste), von Sardinien und Sizilien bekannt.
