Taxonomie und Faunistik
Uns ist bisher nur das kurze Summary bekannt. Dort heißt es: "Casignetella pseudodeviella, sp. n. described from steppe zone of Crimea is most similar to Casignetella deviella (Zeller, 1847) distributed in Western and Southern Europe, Russia (Lower Volga, Crimea), Western and Southern Ukraine and Iran, but differs by more light forewing, more longer gnathos and cucullus, more developed of sacculus armament, more large phalloteca roods with apical armament (one triangular tooth on right phallotheca rood and one-two triangular tooths on left phallotheca rood), more shorter apophyses anterior, more narrow ostium, antrum, ductus bursa copulatrix and other larvae host plant."
Die Art wurde als Casignetella pseudodeviella beschrieben, da die meisten Coleophoriden-Spezialisten Casignetella als eigenständige Gattung ablehnen, wird hier eine Neukombination mit Coleophora vorgenommen.

Typenmaterial
БУДАШКИН & ПУЗАНОВ (2014: 9) teilen mit: “Голотип ♂, 27.07.2014, Крым, Феодосия, 1 км ЮЗ п. Степное, солончак, ex larva с Salicornia europaea L. (Будашкин).” — Paratypen: 48 ♂♂, 39 ♀♀, alle von der Krim.
