Faunistik
Die aus der Umgebung von Alexandria (Ägypten) beschriebene Art wurde in Europa nur in Spanien nachgewiesen. GAEDIKE (2020: ) meldet einen Fund aus Ademine in Marokko und verweist darauf, dass auch die Synonyme Tineola pallidella LUCAS, 1933 (locus typicus: Ouida [= Oujda]) und Euplocera variegata LUCAS, 1950 (locus typicus Sehouls) aus Marokko beschrieben wurden.
