Etymologie (Namenserklärung)
Die Art ist nach einem der Finder der Typenexemplare benannt: H. Bertrand.

Faunistik
Nach ROBINEAU, R. [Coordinateur] et al. (2011) ist die Art mit brachypteren Weibchen ein Endemit der Alpen. Für Frankreich werden die Départements Haute-Savoie und Hautes-Alpes genannt, wo die Art sehr lokal zwischen 1800 und 2500 m vorkommen soll. Mittlerweile wird die Art auch aus dem unmittelbar angrenzenden Italien angeführt. Typenfundort ist Abriés (Hautes Alpes).
