Etymologie (Namenserklärung)
BENGTSSON (1997) erläutert seine Erstbeschreibung: "The species is dedicated to the late Mr. Eberhard Jäckh, Hörmanshofen, who has contributed much to the knowledge of the Family Scythrididae."

Holotypus: "Male, labelled: Greece, Peloponnisos, 10 km S of Leonhidion, 800 m, 10.viii.1991, leg. R.T.A. Schouten. Genitalia on slide BÅB 3653. - In coll. Bengtsson / NRS [Stockholm]." (BENGTSSON 1997)
Paratypus: "Male, labelled: [Greece] Graecia, Pelopones, Zachlorou (Kalav), 13-30.vi.1958, leg. J. Klimesch. Genitalia on slide Jä 8363. - In coll. Klimesch." (BENGTSSON 1997)
Faunistik
Nach der [Fauna Europaea] kommt die Art in Griechenland vor. Holotypus und Paratypus wurden auf dem Peloponnes gesammelt (10 km südlich Leonhidion bzw. Zachlorou (Kalav)) - weitere Exemplare waren bis zur Erstbeschreibung nicht bekannt.
