Die Art wurde aus dem südlichen Ural-Gebirge beschrieben.

NUPPONEN & al. (2000: 17): “Holotype: ♂ (Fig. 37): Russia, southern Urals, 50°45'N 54°28'E, 170 m, Orenburg oblast, Pokrovka village 20 km S, Schibendy valley, 04-VI.1998, leg. T. & K. Nupponen. In coll. T. & K. Nupponen.” — Paratypen: 7 ♂♂ und 4 ♀♀.
