Etymologie (Namenserklärung)
NUPPONEN & al. (2000: 19): “Lat. perlucidus = transparent. From the transparent hindwings of the moth.”

Faunistik
Die Art wurde aus dem südlichen Ural-Gebirge beschrieben. Nach ANIKIN et al. (2017) bezeichnen die Art für die Wolga-Ural-Region als "very rare and local" mit Bindung an Kalksteppen-Hänge; zum locus typicus des im gleichen Jahr beschriebenen Synonyms Scythris zolotuhini schreiben sie: "Ulyanovsk Region, Srednikovo env., Malye Atmaly Mts.".
BIDZILYA et al. (2017) melden einen Fund aus der Region Odessa und damit den Erstnachweis für die Ukraine.

NUPPONEN & al. (2000: 18): “Holotype: ♂ (Fig. 41): Russia, southern Urals, 51°23'N 56°49'E, 200 m, Orenburg oblast, Donskoje village 6 km W, Mount Verbljushka, 30.V.1998, leg. T. & K. Nupponen. In coll. T. & K. Nupponen.” — Paratypen: 143 ♂♂ und 92 ♀♀.
